With all the baby stuff invading our home, I like to balance store bought things with kreepie handmade things. Here is Koko Kreepies version of the “boppy pillow.”

After looking for a dresser on craigslist for what feels like my entire pregnancy [that's eight months just so you know] we FINALLY found one! Six drawers, nothing fancy, exactly what we needed. Besides making our nursery curtains yesterday, we also made a kreepie valance for my kitchen.
Here is a picture before the valance:

It is a velvety-type material with bats, skulls and other Halloween inspired shapes. They look absolutely perfect in our orange and black kitchen!
Thanks to the lovely Koko, our nursery is now equip with curtains!
I must admit, I sat around on my tushy making this latest kreepie I named “Ole Blue Eyes”
but our curtains are the best thing that came out of today.
Coming next: crib sheets/quilts.
I am sad to report, project rit #2 failed as well…
If someone could tell me what I am doing wrong, that would be great! I let the second rit dye bath soak for well over three hours!

I finally finished up a project I had laying around the house.
It is my take on a “primitive” table runner.
It is hand-stitched, made with faux fur and random fabric swatched.
It turned out just the way I wanted!
